  • Recognizing our defined quality objectives
  • Pursuing continual improvements

Mercom has been awarded its ISO 9001:2008 certification and it is the cornerstone of our Quality Management System (QMS). The foundation of the QMS is our written policies, procedures and work instructions that are based on world class best business practices. These procedures are continually measured and refined so we can supply our customers with a consistently high standard on our deliverables. Our QMS approach will result in predictable and measurable quality across all Task Orders to ensure the effective and efficient achievement of program goals as well as ensuring the consistent use of best practices. Our QMS focuses on the tactical delivery of products and the efficiency of processes, in keeping with Mercom’s strategic goal of enterprise success. The QMS establishes our overall management philosophy, governing policies, requirements, and accountability for ensuring compliance with individual contract and Task Order requirements.

Our QMS program includes:

  1. Identifying requirements, roles, and responsibilities
  2. Identifying and implementing processes, including inputs and outputs
  3. Maintaining records of compliance with processes, including Preventive and Corrective Actions
  4. Measuring and analyzing results
  5. Monitoring continuous improvement
