Mercom Corporation awarded 8(a) STARS II GWAC (Government Wide Acquisition Contract) from GSA (General Services Administration) and SBA (Small Business Administration)

PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC –Mercom Corporation announced today that it was awarded the prestigious 8(a) STARS GWAC from GSA. The 8(a) STARS II contract offers simple to complex IT service solutions such as IT help desk support, information assurance, cyber-security, virtualization, IPV6, Web 2.0, and more. This contract is structured with two tiers or Constellations. Constellation I includes prime contractors who are technically proficient and offer competitive pricing. Constellations II prime contractors provide the same strengths as Constellation I, but offers the additional benefit of either an ISO 9001:2000 or 9001:2008 credential or Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level II.
