The Golf Tournament will benefit Teach My People. Teach My People serves “at risk” public education students in 1st through 10th grades, as well as providing support to their families, along the Waccamaw Neck area. These students are identified as “at risk” by the Georgetown County School District. A grade level is added to the program each school year to ensure that the students will be cared for and mentored throughout their elementary, middle and high school years. Teach My People provides high quality organized programs which are spiritually driven (based on Christian principles and values) on a twelve month cycle. The program has more than fifty community volunteers providing weekly support at the center. With your help, Mercom raised $20,100 for this wonderful charity in 2010!
