Contract Overview: The Bureau of the Public Debt's (BPD) Office of Management Services (OMS) provides physical security for the BPD's facilities. In order to provide adequate physical security, BPD has a requirement to maintain, update and add to their Physical Access Control (PACS) and Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) systems at their Third, Avery Street  and Warehouse facilities as required.  The goal of this contract is to maintain security support of these systems by resolving any maintenance issues that may arise and provide for growth of the systems as required.  These systems are required for Personnel Identity Verification (PIV) and maintaining federal compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) as well as numerous other security directives.

Contract Scope:  The objective is for Mercom to provide maintenance support of the PACS and VSS systems on a scheduled or on call basis and provide installations of hardware as required due to system growth.  This contract is intended to support all parts of the PWS not supported by HIRSCH Electronics, which includes controllers, door hardware, wiring and any additions to the system architecture on an "as needed" basis.  The support will also cover BPD's PELCO "Endura" VSS and all associated peripheral hardware such as cameras, housings, wiring and any additions to the system architecture on a scheduled or as needed basis.
