Mercom Corporation is looking for a self motivated individual with an existing Top Secret Security Clearance to join our team as an Audio Video Engineer. The position provides analysis and engineering support related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and training, and generally has 3-5 years work experience. Applicants must possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. This position requires the ability to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems and contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

- Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices and systems
- Directs overall system level testing
- Develops direction for passive system installation team
- Completes explanations and clarifies information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of complex specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data
